We need the ability for the PEs to tear down the remote end of an attachment-circuit if the local end looses link for whatever reason. This prevents issues where one side is up and other side is down relying on upper layer protocols to detect the control-plane failure.

In IOS-XR this feature has a command like this: “l2transport propagate remote-status”

We will need this added to this product.
